Opening Tip

•    St. Mary's heads out on one of the toughest road trips in the Lone Star Conference, traveling to West Texas A&M on Thursday and Lubbock Christian on Saturday. The Rattlers have never won on either team's home court with an 0-5 record at WT and 0-11 at LCU.

•    Twelve of the Rattlers 24 games this season have been decided by five or fewer points and the Rattlers are 4-8 in those contests.

•    Senior Tonia Bilic is 11 points shy of 400 for her career, while freshman Gabby Elliott needs 24 rebounds for 200. Junior Teanna Huggins is only 15 points away from 200 this year and with 10 rebounds senior Briley Perkins will hit 150 in her career. Junior Ariah Powell is 20 points away from career 200 and senior Natalia Ryng needs 19 for 300.

•    Gabby Elliott has scored at least 10 points in the last 15 games, the longest double figure scoring streak on the team this season. It is the longest streak since Morgan Pullins scored in double figures in 19 straight during the 2014-15 season.

•    The three wins in Lone Star Conference play surpasses last season's total of two and the Rattlers have four games remaining on the docket.

 •    Gabby Elliott remains the top-scoring freshman in the Lone Star Conference, ranking 12th overall with 13.1 points per game and eighth in league-only tilts with an average of 14.3 per game. The true freshman also ranks 10th with 7.6 rebounds/game in conference play and 7.3 against all opponents.

•    The Rattlers have held four of their last five opponents below 55 points and now rank ninth in the LSC statistics with 62.0 opponent points per game.

•    Senior Natalia Ryng has scored in double figures five times this season after not getting above eight in any games a season ago. She's made the jump from 2.0 per game to 6.4 this year, along with increasing her rebounds per game from 2.1  to 5.4.
