PORTALES, N.M. — The St. Mary's University Men's Basketball team ran into an offensive juggernaut on Saturday afternoon, falling 101-82 at Eastern New Mexico.

The Greyhounds (4-2, 2-0 Lone Star Conference) shot 56.5 percent from the field and 52.9 from beyond the arc (9-for-17) in remaining undefeated in league play.

St. Mary's (4-2, 1-1 Lone Star) saw five athletes score in double figures, led by senior
Edward Manuel (Lake Charles, La.) with 12 points and five steals off the bench. Both senior
Tyler Caron (Longview, Texas) and senior
Diego Gonzalez (Arecibo, Puerto Rico) scored 11 and added two steals each, while senior
Keith Dinwiddie (Los Angeles, Calif.) added 10 points and five assists, while senior
Lachlan Bofinger (Sydney, Australia) posted his third double-double with 10 points and team-high 10 rebounds.

ENMU was led by Jahcoree Ealy with 31 points and four assists, while Conrad Luczynski added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Lyron Bennett led the game with eight assists.

The Rattlers committed only three turnovers in the first half and grabbed nine offensive rebounds but shot only 23.7 percent and trailed by 13 at the break. StMU was outscored by six in the second half. Gonzalez and Dinwiddie both scored all their points in the second half in an attempt to mount a comeback.Â

StMU did a better job of connecting in the second half, shooting 55 percent and they committed only five turnovers.

On Wednesday, the Rattlers have a rematch with Midwestern State at 7:30 p.m. This contest will count in the Lone Star standings. The Mustangs defeated the Rattlers 108-104 in overtime on November 18. The game on Dec. 6 will benefit JingleMart, assisting foster families in affording the holidays. Bring a toy and receive free admission to the game.
