SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's University Men's Soccer student-athletes
Cian Foley,
Luke Mulkey and
Andre Schlaefli were all named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
The honor evaluates a player's contributions on and off the field. To qualify, a player must have played at least one year at their current institution, maintain a 3.50 GPA, and be a starter or key reserve player.

Mulkey is a sophomore defender from Parker, Texas, who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science. Mulkey helped anchor the Rattlers' defense and was the only player on the team to start in all 19 games.
Schlaefli was named the University's Management Student of the Year. The senior from Katy, Texas, was in goal for 15 of the team's 19 games, posting a record of 5-4-5 with two shutouts and 47 saves.
