SAN ANTONIO — Four different goals by four players lifted the St. Mary's University Women's Soccer team to a 4-1 victory over West Texas A&M on Senior Night at Sigma Beta Chi Field on Friday night.

Less than three minutes into the second half, Paniagua took a shot from the corner of the box, which senior
Natalie Gonzalez (El Paso, Texas) grabbed the rebound and flicked back into the net to double the Rattlers (9-4-5, 8-3-1 Lone Star Conference) lead.

Natalia Garcia (Helotes), playing in just her second game of the season, found the back of the net in the 87th minute on a free kick from right outside the box to put the game out of reach.

With the win, the Rattlers earn the two-seed at the upcoming Lone Star Conference Championship. St. Mary's will host rival, St. Edward's in the quarterfinals on Monday. Game times will be announced on Saturday. DBU won the regular season crown for the fifth-straight year and will host the semifinals and finals on Nov. 10 and 12.
