Freshman Gabby Elliott (San Antonio) was one rebound shy of another double-double, leading the game in both scoring with 17 points and rebounding with nine. She has now scored in double figures in 11-straight contests.

Sophomore Faith Phillips (San Marcos, Texas) added eight points, while junior Ariah Powell (Detroit, Mich.) was second on the team with five rebounds and both Powell and junior Teanna Huggins collected two assists.

The Javelinas (12-8, 9-5 Lone Star) were led by Jayde Tschritter with 16 points, while both Georgia Ohiaeri and Veyda Lake grabbed five boards each.

Five different players scored the first five baskets for the Rattlers as only senior Briley Perkins (Houston) scored twice in the first quarter. The defense forced two shot clock violations in the final five minutes of the first stanza.
