CONROE, Texas – The St. Mary's Softball team ended the Arkansas Tech Winter Invitational on a high note, shutting out Southern Nazarene, 3-0, on Monday morning.

The Rattlers are now 3-2 on the young season with both losses coming to teams either ranked or receiving votes in the NFCA Coaches Poll.

On Monday, StMU scored three runs on four hits and held SNU from crossing home after they put together six base knocks.

The Rattlers head to the Javelina Invitational in Portland, Texas beginning on Friday. They are scheduled to play five games, starting with Hillsdale at 2 p.m.
