The Rattlers (1-2) used a balanced scoring attack as all 13 players who saw action in the game scored at least two points. Both senior
Emmanuel Ewuzie (San Antonio) and senior
Edward Manuel (Lake Charles, La.) posted double-doubles on the day. Ewuzie led the team with 16 points and 14 rebounds -- both career-highs, while Manuel came off the bench to score 12 and grab 11 boards.

Mamady Djikine (Paris, France) added 14 points and senior
Caleb Jordan (Midlothian, Texas) chipped in 11. Sophomore
Diego Gonzalez (Arecibo, Puerto Rico) led all players with six assists and five steals, while senior

Despite having 19 turnovers, the Rattlers shot over 50 percent from the field for the game, making 36-of-70 (.514) and the team shot .833 from the free throw line, sinking 20-of-24, including an 8-for-10 performance from Ewuzie.

Jaron Presley (Katy, Texas) sank the 50th three-pointer of his career with his first of two in the game as he ended with six points and three rebounds.
