TAKING THE PITCH
The St. Mary's Rattlers head to Laredo, Texas to tangle with the Dustdevils of Texas A&M International in a pivotal nonconference matchup. The Rattlers dropped their last game to DBU in overtime, 2-1, but still enjoyed a winning home stand. StMU took three out of five games at Sigma Beta Chi Field and will look to take that momentum down I-35 to TAMIU.Â
For the Dustdevils, they come into Wednesday's contest at 2-4-1. TAMIU is 0-2-1 in their last three contests, including a 4-3 shootout loss to UT-Tyler their last time out. The Dustdevils are led by Kristian Colaci who has scored seven goals in his first seven games. In 563 minutes, Colaci has registered an impressive 37 shots on the season. A victory in Laredo will undoubtedly require an effective game plan for #9.
