Dixon Earns Spot on PING All-Region Team

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Friday its NCAA Division II PING All-Region teams and St. Mary's senior Ryan Dixon earned a spot on the South Central team.
 
Dixon, a senior from Blackhall Colliery, England placed amongst the top 15 in every tournament during the regular season and he tied for 21^st at the NCAA West/South Central Regional. He also won the DBU Men's Classic after shooting a seven-under par 209.
 
"This is another accolade in a wonderful career for Ryan," said Head Golf Coach Thomas Kearney. "He has developed and grown so much over the years and the future is exciting, particularly with his return next season. He is not done YET!"
 
He ended the season ranked seventh in the region and 52^nd in the nation, according to GolfStat and had an average round scored of 72.53.
 
This is the second-straight season Dixon has been named to the South Central All-Region team and a year ago he was an honorable mention All-American selection.
