Soccer Trio Earns All-Tournament Team Honors
SAN ANTONIO - A trio of St. Mary's Soccer players earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after the conclusion of the 2021 Lone Star Conference Men's and Women's Soccer Championships.
Megan Copeland earned a spot on the women's team as the junior helped the Rattlers to their first conference tournament win since the 2015 season. Copeland and the Rattlers defeated Texas A&M International in the opening round before falling to nationally-ranked Angelo State in the closing minutes of the quarterfinal match. Copeland and the defense held the high-powered Rambelle offense to just one goal.

On the men's side,
Lewis Wilson and
Dani Gimena earned the honor as the Rattlers earned the second seed after going 6-2-1 on the season including a 5-2-1 mark in conference play. Gimena, a freshman, recorded three assist on the season while Wilson scored two goals and dished out one assist.
