Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Drops Season Finale

LUBBOCK, Texas – The St. Mary's Women's Soccer team wrapped up its 2021 regular season on Wednesday night with a 1-0 loss at Lubbock Christian University. 
 
The Rattlers surrendered a goal early in the 10th minute that turned out to be the game-winner. 
 
St. Mary's fired 11 shots, putting give on goal. 
 
Kylie Von Holle put a shot on goal in the second minute but the LCU keeper denied Von Holle, keeping the match scoreless. 
 
In the 12th minute, Alexis Lawrence put a shot on goal but could not get it past the keeper. Five minutes later, Gabby Olsen fired one on goal but the Lady Chaps keeper remained solid. LCU keeper Hannah Wise made her fourth save in the 20th minute on a shot by Miranda Narvaez.
 
St. Mary's managed to get three shots off in the second half, two of which were on frame but the Rattlers were unable to find the equalizer, falling in their season finale. 
 
Cameron Koerner made six saves in the loss while Narvaez put two shots on goal. 
 
St. Mary's awaits their Lone Star Conference Tournament seeding that will come out later tonight.
