KINGSVILLE – The big block of 10
th-ranked Texas A&M-Kingsville again proved too much for the St. Mary's Volleyball team on Wednesday night as the Rattlers lost 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Mia Martinez (Orlando, Fla.) led the Rattlers (2-9, 2-9 Lone Star Conference) with nine kills, while senior libero
Catherine Cruz (San Antonio) did everything in her power to keep the rallies going with a match-high 23 digs. Junior outside hitter
Alissa Tolbert (San Antonio) also notched double figures in digs with 12.
The Javelinas remained unbeaten on the season and improved to 11-0 with the victory in their final home match of the 2021 spring season. TAMUK notched nine blocks in the three sets and touched a lot more in holding the Rattlers to a .089 hitting percentage.
The two teams meet for the final regular season match on Saturday at 6 p.m. inside Bill Greehey Arena in San Antonio.
