•   St. Mary's has advanced to the league championship tournament in all 15 seasons of Head Coach Jason Marten's tenure. This is the second-straight Lone Star Conference Tournament appearance and the Rattlers made 13-straight Heartland Conference appearances under his tutelage.

Hannah Wilson has posted a double-double in points and rebounds in each of the last seven games and in eight this year. She is the only player in the Lone Star averaging a double-double in 2021.
On Tap: The St. Mary's Women's Basketball team earned the eight-seed at the Lone Star Conference Tournament and will take on top-seeded and No. 1-ranked Lubbock Christian for the third time this season in Lubbock. The teams will play on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the opening round.
Opponent Check-In: Lubbock Christian just broke the Division II women's basketball record for consecutive home wins with 88, breaking Nebraska-Kearney's mark of 87 (1995-2001). The Lady Chaps are 15-0 on the year and went 13-0 in Lone Star action to win their second-straight LSC title. Lubbock Christian is averaging 73.1 points per game and holding opponents to 44.7 a contest (+28.4 margin). The Lady Chaps are also +1.7 in rebounding margin and they have a 9.4 turnover margin, forcing opponents into 22.3 per game. Allie Schulte leads a trio of players in double figures in scoring with 14.4, while both Emma Middleton and Juliana Robertson average 5.3 rebounds. Briley Perkins is 68-for-86 from the free throw line for her career, which meets the minimum requirements (65 made) for the school's career charts. Perkins appears on the list in fourth in free throw percentage at 79.1.
Pencil Them In: In head coach
Jason Martens 15 seasons with St. Mary's, the Rattlers have advanced to the conference tournament all 15 years. The Blue & Gold were a perfect 13-for-13 in the Heartland Conference and are now 2-for-2 in the Lone Star Conference. Last season the Rattlers hosted Cameron in the first round and won 84-71 before falling to Texas A&M-Commerce in the quarterfinals, 80-70.

Hannah Wilson has posted a double-double in points and rebounds and is the only player in the Lone Star Conference averaging more than 10 in each category. Wilson has had eight double-doubles in 14 games and she's had double figures in one of the two categories in five of the other six (lone exception vs Angelo St where she played only 19 minutes due to injury).

Hannah Wilson currently leads the Lone Star Conference, averaging 10.5 rebounds per game. Wilson is also second with 4.1 offensive rebounds a contest. Nationally, Wilson ranks 18th in total rebounds and 13th in offensive rebounds. Fellow senior
Audrey Wandji is also ranked 11th in the league with 6.5 boards a contest and seventh with 2.7 offensive rebounds a game.Â
Crashing The Boards: In 11 of the 14 games this season, St. Mary's has either tied or won the rebounding battle - including the last seven contests. The Rattlers have a +4.9 rebounding average this season and rank third in the Lone Star Conference in rebounding offense (38.9) and fourth in rebounding defense (33.9).

Briley Perkins was a perfect 8-for-8 at the free throw line at Texas A&M-Commerce on Jan. 3, tying the school record for free throw percentage (8 attempts min.). Â Senior
Hannah Wilson joined Perkins in the record books, making all eight of her tries in the regular season finale at Oklahoma Christian. Flavia Azinheira holds the StMU record, making all 14 of her tries on Nov. 26, 2005 against Ferris State. Perkins was also 6-for-6 at the line in the home game against St. Edward's.
