On Tap: St. Mary's heads back on the road for a three-game series at Oklahoma Christian as both teams begin Lone Star Conference play. The Rattlers are 2-1 in 2021, while the Eagles have yet to play.

Last Time Out: The Rattlers started the season 2-1 at the Arkansas Tech Winter Invitational, hosted at Minute Maid Park in Houston. St. Mary's had the lead in all three contests, but Central Missouri came back for the 8-7 tally on Saturday. The Rattlers won the opener against Arkansas Tech, 10-3 and closed the tournament with a 6-3 victory over Lone Star foe UAFS.

No Horsing Around: Junior Jake Mares currently owns the school's career stolen-base percentage . He entered the season 26-for-28 and is 1-for-2 through three games for a 90 percent success rate (27-for-30).

Skipper Wins: Head Coach Charlie Migl begins his 35th season at the helm of the Rattlers. Migl is the Division II record holder in victories with 1,222 and ranks 10th in winning percentage amongst active coaches. All-time, he ranks fourth in wins and is just 102 shy of the record of 1,324 by Mike Metheny (Southeastern Okla., 1981-2017).
