On Tap: The St. Mary's Women's Basketball team will conclude the 2020-21 season with a pair of games at Oklahoma Christian on Friday and Saturday.

Opponent Check-In: Oklahoma Christian is 6-6 on the season and 6-5 in Lone Star Conference action and have won the last two games. The Eagles snuck out a 69-67 win on Monday against Angelo State after having six-straight games postponed due to weather and COVID-19 protocols. Brooklin Bain leads the team with 15.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game and a 51.5 field goal percentage. Maddison Collyer Ingraham also averages 12.0 points and a team-best 6.2 assists per game. Tyra Peck leads the club with 2.5 steals a contest.

Series History: St. Mary's owns a 12-7 advantage in the all-time series against Oklahoma Christian and has won the last two. The Rattlers are 3-4 in the Eagles Nest, winning three of the last four in Oklahoma City. Head Coach Jason Martens is 10-6 all-time versus OC, including the lone meeting in the postseason, an 88-84 win in the Heartland Conference Tournament in 2016. The Rattlers have never won three-straight against the Eagles, winning two in a row four different times.

Last Time Out: The Rattlers returned the favor, defeating St. Edward's on its home court after the Hilltoppers won in Bill Greehey the previous week. StMU won 70-66 with four players scoring in double figures. Senior F Hannah Wilson totaled a career-best 22 points and added 11 rebounds for her fifth-straight double-double, while sophomore G Briley Perkins scored 14, senior G Mya Culiver tallied 11 and sophomore G/F Tonia Bilic in her first start chipped in 10. Culiver led the way with four assists, while sophomore F Natalia Ryng blocked a career-best three shots and Bilic stole two to lead the team.

Double Trouble: In each of the last five games, senior F Hannah Wilson has posted a double-double in points and rebounds and is the only player in the Lone Star Conference averaging more than 10 in each category. Wilson has had six double-doubles in 12 games and she's had double figures in one of the two categories in five of the other six (lone exception vs Angelo St where she played only 19 minutes due to injury).

Rewriting The Books: When the season ends, Hannah Wilson's name will appear all over the record books at St. Mary's. Wilson currently sits at 89 games started, which is tied for fourth with Ashton Benford (2005-2009). She is fifth in career rebounds with 826 and fifth in rebounding average at 8.69. Wilson also ranks fourth with 87 blocked shots and sixth with 0.92 blocks per game.

Triple Threat: St. Mary's has won four of the last five games, and one of the reason's is they've been connecting more on the long ball. In the first seven games of the year, the Rattlers shot just .248 from the three-point line and averaged 3.7 triples a game. In the last five, the Rattlers  have shot .406 from beyond the arc and averaged 8.6 three's a contest.

Cleaning The Glass: Senior forward Hannah Wilson currently leads the Lone Star Conference, averaging 10.3 rebounds per game. Wilson is also second with 4.0 offensive rebounds a contest. Nationally, Wilson ranks 24th in total rebounds and 19th in offensive rebounds. Fellow senior Audrey Wandji is also ranked seventh in the league with 7.0 boards a contest and fourth with 3.0 offensive rebounds a game.

Crashing The Boards: In nine of the 12 games this season, St. Mary's has either tied or won the rebounding battle - including the last five contests. The Rattlers have a +3.4 rebounding average this season and rank fourth in the Lone Star Conference in both rebounding offense (38.1) and rebounding defense (34.7).
