Richardson, TX – Following a 12-6 record during the 2021 regular season, the St. Mary's Rattlers received nine awards from the Lone Star Conference.
Cian Foley and Deni Cresto both earned LSC All-Academic Awards after outstanding semesters in the classroom. Foley is a junior majoring in Psychology, while Cresto is a senior majoring in Exercise and Sports Science.
Preseason Defensive Player of the Year Liam Morrison was selected as a member of the First Team All-Conference. Morrison was a pivotal member of the Rattlers' backline while also scoring two goals and registering three assists.
Leading goal-scorer Alonso Rodriguez was selected to the Second Team All-Conference after putting eight goals in the back of the net in 2021.
A quartet of Rattlers were selected to the Third Team All-Conference. Andrick Ferrer, Edu Bonatto, Alain Peralt, and Lewis Wilson all earned conference honors for their play this year.
Finally, Ferrer and fellow rookie Bradley Greene were selected to the LSC All-Freshman Team. Ferrer scored three goals and added two assists, while Greene played all over the field, scoring one goal and accounting for over 1000 minutes played.
The Rattlers take on No. 8 Midwestern State tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. with a trip to the conference finals on the line.
