THE RECAP
The Rattlers never seemed to find their rhythm in this game, taking a home loss to West Texas A&M 2-0. The game started off slow fo both sides, with neither team able to find the goal in the first half. West Texas A&M had control of the possession for majority of the first half, while the Rattlers had few opportunities they were unable to capitalize.
The Buffaloes scored two goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half, both from inside the box. The Rattlers were only able to find seven shots during this game, with only one shot on goal. That lone shot hitting the crossbar in the second half with a chance to cut the deficit, but the Rattlers were unable to find any other opportunities to score.
Rebecca Difronzo did record 9 saves this afternoon, keeping the Rattlers in the game as best she could, but the Buffalo defense was doing a great job of keeping the Rattlers outside of the box.
After back to back wins, the Rattlers will have three days to regroup from this loss for a home game against UT Tyler.
