THE RECAP
The Rattlers came out strong, but fell to DBU 1-0. DBU out shot the Rattlers 20-11, but they only had two less shots on goal. This was a game of minimal opportunities, but the Patriots capitalized on the one that mattered. In the 54th minute, the Patriots ran through the right side of the Rattlers defense and snuck a ball in the left side of the goal for the lead.
After giving up the goal,
Rebecca Difronzo had three more saves in the second half which kept the game in reach. The Rattlers had their opportunities, but were just unable to capitalize. They have two days to regroup for UTPB on Saturday at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
