TAKING THE PITCH
The Rattlers head west to Canyon, Texas for a Lone Star Conference showdown with No. 18 West Texas A&M. Wednesday night will serve as the backdrop for an important rematch with heavy conference implications on the line.

St. Mary's upset the then-No.3 ranked Buffs in San Antonio, 3-2, in their first meeting of the season. The Rattler win halted a program-best 7-0 start for WTAMU and gave the Rattlers a wave of momentum heading into conference play.

Now, with the Rattlers sitting atop the LSC standings, a victory for St. Mary's would go a long way in helping to secure a playoff spot come November. St. Mary's is off to a 2-0 start to LSC play, while the Buffs are 2-1. WTAMU's only loss in conference was at the hands of Lubbock Christian in a 3-0 final.

RATTLER STORYLINES

- St. Mary's has just five wins over WTAMU in the series history, but they have won three of the last five games. That stat includes the last two games in Canyon, both of which were won by the Rattlers.
- Cian Foley scored twice in the Rattlers' last win over WTAMU. For his efforts, Foley was named Offensive Player of the Week in the Lone Star Conference.
- StMU is nearly doubling up their opponents on offense, scoring 24 goals while allowing just 13.

SCOUTING No. 18 WEST TEXAS A&M

- The Buffs have won their last two games over UT-Tyler and Texas A&M International. WTAMU escaped both contests with a pair of one-goal wins.
- While their leading goal scorer hasn't played since Sept 29th, the Buffs are still producing plenty of offense. They're led by Stefan Andjelic who has registered five goals this season.
- The Buffs are 6-0 at home on "The Pitch" this season.
