KERRVILLE, Texas — St. Mary's Men's Tennis had a doubles pair and three singles players go undefeated in games and sets on Sunday to get a 9-0 win over Schreiner on the road.
"Schreiner played us pretty even in the top doubles positions today, but we were able to serve those matches out at the end," Tennis Director
Bill Macom said. "We controlled a lot of the singles rallies from start to finish and were able to cruise through a few of those."
The doubles pair of
Daniel Gill and
Sebastian Azcui went 8-0 and
Jeremiah Gonzalez,
Brendan Brown and Saisaurev Konakanchiwent 6-0 in every singles game to help the Rattlers to a dominant win. Just as with the women, the men won every set.
The men will also travel to Waco next week with the women, but will take on Hawaii-Hilo at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22.
