SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's University Women's Basketball team returns home to Bill Greehey Arena this week to face Western New Mexico and University of Texas-Permian Basin on Faculty Appreciation Night, following a pair of wins on the road last week.

The Rattlers won the last meeting against the Mustangs in 2017, 64-60 in Lubbock. The is the first meeting between the two as Lone Star Conference opponents.

The Rattlers are 12-6 against the Falcons in the all-time series, and have won the last five meetings in a row. This is also the first meeting between these two teams in the Lone Star Conference.

Two Rattlers are averaging double-digit scoring, led by Soteria Banks at 17.2 points per game, and Hannah Wilson at 10.7.
 
Alexia Torres leads the team in total assists with 99, while Hannah Wilson leads in rebounds with 199. 
 
On the defensive end, Mya Culiver, Alexia Torres, and Jessica Barbosa are all tied for the lead in steals with 28, and Hannah Wilson leads in blocks with 25. 

Wilson was named LSC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for posting back-to-back double-doubles in the road wins last week.
