DENVER – The St. Mary's University Women's Soccer team saw their record fall to 0-2 on Saturday afternoon as they dropped a 3-0 decision to Metropolitan State University Denver.
Metro State scored its first goal nearly 19 minutes into the contest but St. Mary's held the Roadrunners scoreless for the next 50 minutes before allowing two goals in the final 23 minutes of the game.
The Rattlers struggled to find scoring opportunities as they managed just five shots, two of which were on frame.

Erin Longford played 62 minutes and made eight saves, allowing just one goal.
Miranda Narvaez and Mackenzie Ritch each recorded a shot on goal in the loss.
The Rattlers will return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International at 7 p.m.
