Women's Soccer Returns to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Women's Soccer returns to San Antonio for a match at Our Lady of the Lake on Tuesday and the team's home opener on Thursday against Northwestern Oklahoma State.
ST. MARY'S (1-2)

The Rattlers picked up their first win of the season last week against Texas A&M-International. Alexia Maldonado scored the lone goal in that match.

Both Erin Longford and Cameron Koerner have spent time in goal for the Rattlers, combining for 16 saves in just three matches, an average of over five per match.
OUR LADY OF THE LAKE (1-2-1)

The Saints dropped both of their matches last week against Wayland Baptist and Mary Hardin-Baylor.

OLLU goalkeeper Savannah Hernandez has 12 total saves on the season so far.

The Rattlers are 4-1-2 against the Saints in the all-time series, including a 7-1 victory last year at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE (2-2)

It was a tale of two matches last week for the Rangers, who lost 3-0 to Texas A&M-Commerce on Monday, and then Oklahoma Panhandle State University 11-0 on Friday. Despite the lopsided victory, no player on the team has more than two goals this season.

Goalkeeper Reyna Gonzales has 10 saves on the year so far.

This will be the first meeting between the Rattlers and Rangers.
The home opener against Northwestern Oklahoma will feature a food truck, Maniacs Chef, prior to the match at 4 p.m. The first 50 students will receive a voucher for a complimentary meal when they show their ID at the gate.
