No. 25 Men's Soccer Travels to Colorado For First Road Trip

SAN ANTONIO — No. 25 ranked St. Mary's Men's Soccer hits the road this weekend for its first away matches of the season, against Fort Lewis College and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
ST. MARY'S RATTLERS (2-0)
- The Rattlers went 2-0 in their opening weekend, scoring six goals and conceding just two. They first defeated Metro State 3-1 on Friday, and then got a statement victory against No. 16 Colorado School of Mine, again winning the match 3-1.

Luis Sanchez each scored two goals and Wright was named Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
- St. Mary's is averaging 12 shots per match so far, while holding its opponents to just 5.5 attempts on goal per match on average. 14 of the team's 24 total shots have been on frame, giving them a solid 58.3 percent shooting accuracy.
FORT LEWIS SKYHAWKS (1-0-1)
- Fort Lewis started the season last week with an opening 2-0 win over Cal State East Bay, followed by a 2-2 draw with Hawaii Pacific University.

- Junior forward Ryan Lee already has two goals and an assist through two matches.

- UCCS is 0-1 so far this season, with an opening 1-0 loss at Lubbock Christian last week.
