SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Women's Soccer posted a shutout for 78 minutes, but was unable to hold on in the end, falling 2-0 on the road to UT-Tyler on Saturday.

Erin Longford had six saves in the first half, but with only one shot on goal, the Rattlers entered the break in a 0-0 deadlock. The Rattlers then out-shot the Patriots 8-7 in the second half, but it was UT-Tyler that eventually found the back of the net in the 79th and 83rd minutes. 
Serena Frank was able to get off two shots in the last five minutes to try and get St. Mary's back in the match, but the first was saved and the second was went just high of the goal. 
The Rattlers will to regroup and get back in the win column when they return home to take on Texas Woman's and DBU on Nov. and Nov. 8 at Sigma Beta Chi Field. Live stats and streaming links can be found on the schedule page.
