Rough second set halts Rattlers in Kingsville

KINGSVILLE, Texas — Despite a 10-kill performance from Alissa Tolbert, St. Mary's fell to Texas A&M-Kinsville 3-0 on Tuesday night.
 
The Rattlers (5-7) struggled at the net as the Javelinas produced an 11-5 advantage in blocks. For the match, the Rattlers had a team hitting percentage of .085 while the Javelinas hit .223 percent.
 
Bree Perry logged 20 assists and 11 digs while Channing Hankins added eight kills in the loss.
 
St. Mary's will get another chance at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday when it faces the Javelinas in Stephenville, Texas.
