#6 Women's Tennis falls in Round of 16

SURPRISE, Arizona — No. 3-ranked Columbus State eliminated No. 6 St. Mary's Women's Tennis from the NCAA championships Tuesday.
 
The Rattlers dropped the Round of 16 match, falling 5-1 in their fifth consecutive trip to the national tournament.
 
St. Mary's (20-4) started the day off with a point in doubles, as Kaylin Kruseman and Tyra Timm won their No. 1 doubles match, 8-5, to help the Snakes head to singles trailing 2-1.
 
But Columbus State picked up three consecutive points in singles to clinch the match.
