Baseball sweeps past Dustdevils

LAREDO, Texas — St. Mary's completed a four-game sweep of Texas A&M International on Saturday.
 
In Game 1, the Rattlers and Dustdevils traded runs until a grand slam from Donnie Perez in the sixth inning secured a StMU victory.
 
Nick Galaviz posted a 3-for-4 game at the plate while Jacob Aguilar and Andrew Perez each recorded multi-hit games.
 
Branson Hall tossed a complete game on the mound, picking up his fourth victory of the season.
 
The Rattlers continued to thrive offensively in the nightcap as Perez added two hits and two RBI to his totals. 
 
Case Harper and Andrew Perez contributed two RBI apiece as St. Mary's enters the final week of the season two games back of the No. 1 seed in the Heartland Conference.
 
Beginning on Friday, the Rattlers will host Newman in the final series of the regular season.
