Rattler offense held silent in series finale

SAN ANTONIO — After taking the first two games of the weekend series, St. Mary's fell to Texas A&M International, 1-0, at The Park at St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon.
 
Held to only three hits, the Rattlers could do little offensively against the Dustdevils' Melanie Lint.
 
Marcela Vasquez posted a pair of hits as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Taylor Germain accounted for the only other hit in the ballgame.
 
Staci Johns valiantly kept the Rattlers in the game as she tossed seven innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out seven batters.
 
The Rattlers will look to bounce back on Tuesday when they host St. Edward's in a Battle of the Saints matchup at 5 p.m.
