Rattlers bit by late DBU run

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's could not withstand a late push by DBU as the Rattlers fell 77-66 on Saturday night against the Patriots.
 
Leading by 10 with 6:51 left, the Rattlers stalled and were met with a Patriot offense that would end the game on a 23-2 run.
 
Skyler Brooks posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds while Petar Radojicic added 14 points and five rebounds before fouling out.
 
Off the bench, Freddie Williams led the Rattlers in scoring with 15 points to go along with eight boards.
 
The Rattlers will have a quick turnaround as they will hit the road for three out of the next four games, beginning with Midwestern State on Monday at 6 p.m.
