@StMUWBB defends home court against Hilltoppers

SAN ANTONIO — It was the Arysia Porter show on Wednesday night as the St. Mary's Rattlers defeated St. Edward's 59-52.
 
Posting a game-high 23 points, Porter spearheaded the Rattler attack on 9-of-18 shooting to go along with five rebounds and three assists.
 
Her seven steals helped pace a Rattler defense that produced 18 Hilltopper turnovers for 22 points.
 
The Battle of the Saints was a back-and-forth affair as both teams combined for 12 lead changes.
 
Down the stretch, Tia Mason came off the bench and pulled the Rattlers out in front with nine points and five rebounds on 4-of-5 shooting from the field.
 
On Feb. 1, the Rattlers will host conference-leading Lubbock Christian at 5:30 p.m. at Bill Greehey Arena.
