Porter, Banks valiant in Rattler loss to Hillcats

CLAREMORE, Okla. — Women's Basketball began its two-game road trip on Thursday against Rogers State, falling to the Hillcats 75-66.
 
Despite strong performances by Arysia Porter and Soteria Banks, the Rattlers could not overcome the Hillcats, whose bench outscored the Rattlers 17-0.
 
Porter's stat line saw 21 points, two rebounds and three steals while Banks led the team with 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting, three rebounds and a pair of blocks.
 
The only other Rattler to score in the double-figures was Kealani Marquez who posted 10 points, three rebounds and a team-high three assists.
 
On Saturday, the Rattlers will visit UAFS in the final of a brief two-game roadtrip.
