Early goals not enough as Rattlers fall to Buffs

CANYON, Texas — St. Mary's ended a six-match road trip with a tough 3-2 loss to West Texas A&M on Saturday.
 
The Rattlers jumped out to the lead in the 13th minute following a goal from Pato Botello Faz, his fifth of the season.
 
After an equalizer from the Buffs, Tommy Fogarty-Cameron ended the half with a goal of his own, his sixth of the year.
 
Despite the strong performance from the Rattler duo, West Texas A&M would strike for two unanswered goals in the second half.
 
Both Fogarty-Cameron and Botello Faz have netted a total of three goals apiece over the course of the team's last three matches.  
 
Next for the Rattlers will be a matchup against Oklahoma Christian at home on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.
