Rattlers rocked late in loss to Rogers State

CLAREMORE, Oklahoma — St. Mary's fell to Rogers State, 4-1, on the road Thursday afternoon.
 
After conceding a goal in the 19th minute, the Rattlers responded with a goal off a free kick from Roxy Cruz Santory in the 53rd minute.
 
That would be the only score the Rattlers would put on the board as the Hillcats would respond with three goals in the last 18 minutes of the match.
 
The Rattlers were outshot by the Hillcats 21-4, dropping only their second match of the season.
 
Caitlin McCarrell tallied eight saves while Miranda Narvaez, Alexia Maldonado and Serena Frank notched a shot apiece.
 
Saturday, the Rattlers will continue conference play as they travel to Newman to face the Jets beginning at 2:30 p.m.
