Heartbreaking OT loss ends Rattler homestand

SAN ANTONIO — Juwan Green converted on a tough layup with three seconds left in regulation to force overtime against Angelo State. Ultimately, the Rattlers would fall to the Rams 88-80 on Tuesday night at Bill Greehey Arena.
 
Green would finish with 12 points and six assists while Petar Radojicic led the way for the Rattlers with 17 points and seven rebounds before fouling out.  
 
Will Ferguson posted 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field while Freddie Williams provided a spark off the bench with 13 points and five boards.
 
Despite the Rattler bench outscoring the Rams' bench 27-8, the back-and-forth affair ended with the undefeated Rams pulling away in the extra period.
 
The Rattlers set their sights on a trip to Stephenville, Texas where they will face Tarleton State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
