@StMUWBB tops WNMU in final game of Arbor Hotels Classic

LUBBOCK, Texas — Women's Hoops ended the weekend with its second victory in two nights at the Arbor Hotels Classic with a 64-60 victory over Western New Mexico Saturday afternoon.
 
Arysia Porter set the tone for the Rattlers as she scored 14 of her game-high 23 points in the second half.
 
Porter would add nine rebounds as the Rattlers dominated the boards, out rebounding the Mustangs 41-33.
 
Hannah Wilson, Alexia Torres and Soteria Banks each posted 10 points while senior Kealani Marquez added nine points and five rebounds on 3-of-4 shooting from the field.
 
The Rattlers will visit Angelo State on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. before returning home for the 2017 St. Mary's Thanksgiving Classic.
 
St. Mary's cruised to a 64-60 victory over Western New Mexico on Saturday.
