WATCH: Brooks downs Rangers with last second triple

SAN ANTONIO — Skyler Brooks' three in the closing seconds cemented a 61-58 Rattler victory on the opening day of the 2017 River City Classic Friday night at Bill Greehey Arena.
 
Led by Petar Radojicic, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds on 4-of-8 shooting from the field, the Rattlers picked up their first victory of the 2017-2018 season.
 
Brooks would finish with 12 points with a trio of triples while Freddie Williams poured in 10 points of his own.
 
The Rattler bench, led by Dimitri Peterson, made a strong contribution as they outscored UWP 16-14, with the junior scoring six points and grabbing eight rebounds. Nikau McCullough would lead all reserves with eight points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field.
 
St. Mary's will close out the River City Classic tomorrow against Randall at 7 p.m.
