Men’s Hoops battles in double-OT thriller on opening day

DENVER, Colorado — A late free-throw was the difference as St. Mary's fell 83-82 in a thrilling double-overtime duel against Regis on Friday at the RMAC/Heartland Challenge.
 
With two seconds left in regulation, DeMarco Enoch would tie the game with a tip-in off a Will Ferguson missed three-point attempt.
 
Leading the Rattlers was Juwan Green who racked up 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists in his debut for the Gold and Blue.
 
Ferguson added 14 points and four assists while Enoch and Petar Radojicic were each three boards shy of a double-double with 11 points and eight rebounds apiece.
 
The Rattlers will wrap up the RMAC/Heartland Challenge with a meeting against Colorado Mines at 12:30 p.m. CT.
