Comeback falls short for Rattlers against #15 Hilltoppers

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's final home match of the season ended with a difficult 2-1 loss to No. 15 St. Edward's on Thursday night at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
 
Tommy Fogarty-Cameron brought the Rattlers to within one with his eighth goal of the season in the 80th minute.
 
In the second half, the Rattlers' defense held the Hilltoppers scoreless, outshooting St. Edward's 9-4 in the final frame.
 
The Rattlers will head on the road to face Texas A&M International in the regular season finale on Saturday before the Heartland Conference Tournament begins next week.
