Snakes unable to overcome early deficit against Rogers State

CLAREMORE, Okla. — Despite a solid offensive game from Ed Seay, the St. Mary's fell to Rogers State, 63-52, on Saturday afternoon.
 
Seay poured in a team-high 13 points on an efficient 6-of-7 shooting from the field, while grabbing five rebounds. Will Ferguson added 12 points of his own in addition to five rebounds and two assists.
 
The Rattlers got within eight following a Seay jumper with 5:14 left in the game. But that would be the last field goal of the game for the Rattlers as they missed their final three shots.
 
Robbie Benavides provided a spark from behind the three-point line going 3-for-4 for nine points in the ballgame.
 
St. Mary's falls to 8-13 on the season and 5-6 in conference play as they get set to visit Dallas Baptist on Thursday night.
