Remaining undefeated in singles play for another week has earned Mariana Rong her second straight Heartland Conference Player of the Week award. Rong's (Jinan, China) eighth career Player of the Week award came after the junior triumphed her competition in both singles and doubles play against Trinity and Temple College last week. Rong was No. 1 in all four of her matches, winning her two singles matches and two doubles matches.
 
In her two seasons as a Rattler, Rong is currently 25-0 in dual singles play and 4-0 on the season.
