With intensity on the field and in the classroom, Baseball's Kris Gardner was named the Male Student-Athlete of the Year at the 2015 Athletics Banquet. A graduate student, Gardner won the honor by maintaining a 3.78 grade-point average in the MBA program and ended the season as an All-Conference Second Team selection with an impressive 12-3 record on the mound. Gardner helped the Rattlers claim the Heartland Conference regular-season title and advance into the title game of the South Central Regional Tournament.
