Kriston Minor helped St. Mary's stage an unbelievable comeback victory against Regis University by scoring 13 points over the final 3:13 to erase an 11-point deficit over the final three-plus minutes. Minor, whose Rattlers trailed by as many as 14 in the second half, connected on a trio of 3-pointers, a jumper and hit two free throws over the final 3:13 as part of a 23-point performance. It was the latest chapter in the book of Minor's late-game heroics, as it was his long, buzzer-beating 3-pointer that forced overtime against UA Fort Smith en route to the Rattlers winning the Heartland Conference Tournament championship. Last week, Minor averaged 16 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as St. Mary's went 1-1 on the week, losing to No. 10 Colorado Mines earlier in the Heartland-RMAC Shootout.Â
