During the summer, St. Mary's athletics will be bringing you "Fangside Chats: Getting to Know" profiles of our head coaches to shine a light on who they are outside of their sport.
Â
We sat down with one of the newest coaches on staff in Softball Head Coach Taylor Lira. Lira joined the Rattler family at the beginning of June and is already working on building her team culture after two weeks of classes. Lira made the move to San Antonio after coaching at Sterling College in Kansas the last five years.Â
