SAN ANTONIO — The St. Mary's University Women's Basketball team is excited to announce its 2025–26 season schedule, featuring a competitive slate of non-conference and conference matchups, including key road games, rivalries, and the annual StMU Thanksgiving Classic.
The Rattlers tip off the season on Friday, November 14, with a road trip to Rapid City, SD, to face the South Dakota School of Mines, followed by a matchup at Black Hills State on November 16 in Spearfish, SD. It is the first time in school history that the Rattlers have faced either team on the hardwood.
StMU will host several home games in November and December, including Western Colorado on November 22, and will welcome three teams for the StMU Thanksgiving Classic, taking place November 28–29. The Classic features contests between Texas A&M-Kingsville, Oklahoma Baptist, and Washburn, providing fans with back-to-back action and top-tier competition.
Conference play heats up in December, as the Rattlers face Western New Mexico (Dec. 4) and Sul Ross State (Dec. 6) at home. The Rattlers end the calendar year with a challenging final non-conference matchup against Central Oklahoma at home on the 18th at 5:30 p.m. before the holiday break.
The new year opens strong with showdowns against Midwestern State (Jan. 2) and Lubbock Christian (Jan. 4). The team hits the road to face Eastern New Mexico, and West Texas A&M, before returning to Bill Greehey Arena to take on Texas Woman's and UT Tyler. The month closes with three of the final four games on the road, ending with a home contest against UT Dallas on Jan. 31.
StMU will close out the regular season with critical late-season home games against UT Permian Basin (Feb. 12), Angelo State (Feb. 14), and St. Edward's (Feb. 26). All Lone Star Conference games will be played at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings and 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoons.
