Teniente, Tse and the Esports Program Nominated for the*gameHERs Awards

SAN ANTONIO — The St. Mary's University Esports Team is proud to announce that the Esports Team, Fortnite Coach Sarana Tse and Director of Esports Kaitlin Teniente have all been named nominees for the*gameHERs Awards.
 
Coach Tse was nominated for Esports Coach of the Year, Teniente for Top Educator of the Year, and the Rattlers are running for the Top Collegiate Organization. The voting period will run from January 22nd - February 4th, and folks can vote online at https://thegamehers.com/awards-2024
 
This is the third time Coach Teniente has been nominated. In 2021, she was on the Rising Stars and Rising Leader list, while in 2022 Teniente earned a spot on the Esports Coach of the Year nomination list. This is also the second-straight year the Rattlers appear in the Top Collegiate Organization category.
 
The*gamehers is a community of women gamers, for women gamers. The*gamehers is the first and largest media platform and social networking community of women and femme-identifying gamers. Our awards honors the people who make games as well as those who take part in all the creative and technical outlets that surround gaming.
 
The winners will be announced on the*gamehers Twitch Chanel on March 1 during the awards show.
