The fall season has been structured to provide multiple opportunities for varsity teams to compete in qualifiers and/or a swiss style bracket to secure a playoff spot. Currently, St. Mary's ranks 21st among 43 university teams competing in the Tespa: Varsity Series Main Season (8-round Swiss Bracket), on October 24th and 25th we will play our remaining three matches.

Once the Swiss Main Season concludes, there will be an opportunity to participate in Play-Ins where all teams from the bracket and the bottom 16 teams from the Varsity Invitational will be placed into a double elimination bracket, where teams will compete for a spot in the playoffs. The top four teams from the play-ins will be placed into the playoffs.
