Emily Brittain was named the St. Mary's Athlete of the Year at last week's Athletics Banquet. Brittain, the three-time Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Year, has won 24 games this year and is tied for the No. 2 spot in career wins at St. Mary's with 88. Her Rattlers have ranked as high as No. 3 nationally this season.
