Matt McClain was named the NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week last week after tossing a complete-game, nine-inning no-hitter of Rogers State. McClain, a junior from San Antonio Reagan High School, struck out 12 in the 2-0 victory. McClain has totaled 24 strikeouts over  his past two outings.
