Vianna Gutierrez Touchtone was named the St. Mary's Athletics Comeback Athlete of the Year at the annual Athletics Banquet this year. Battling back from a season-ending injury as a junior, Gutierrez Touchtone led Rattler Softball to their fourth regional championship and a trip to the NCAA D-II National Tournament this season en route to being named NFCA All-America Second Team and Daktronics All-America Third Team as a senior. Ace Gutierrez Touchtone was also a top-10 finalist for the Schutt Sports/NFCA National Player of the Year after finishing the season with a 28-7 overall record and a 1.38 ERA while batting .410 at the plate, leading StMU in RBIs with 52. Gutierrez Touchtone was also named the St. Mary's Athletics co-Female Athlete of the Year.
